The Bottom Line

Similar to the Vulcan TKL, the Vulcan TKL Pro ($159.99) is an ultra-compact Tenkeyless keyboard. It’s similar to that of the Vulcan Pro in its features, but it’s not an all-size keyboard. As with the previously mentioned Vulcan TKL, the Vulcan TKL Pro features an external USB-C cable that is removable, an AIMO lighting system, and an audio knob that resembles a mixer. The major difference between TKL Pro and TKL Pro is the new switch it features — ROCCAT’s latest Titan optical switches.

This Titan Optical Switch gives you the tactile feel of a mechanical keyboard, and you can hear the clicks and feel the place where the keys click and actuate. The Optical Switch uses light to identify keystrokes and comes with ROCCAT claims that it’s 40 times quicker than a conventional mechanical switch and double the longevity.
